The Circle I'd like to share with you the idea of The Circle. Traditions throughout human history have envisioned spirituality as a circle; whether in Greek circle dances, the Wiccan practice of casting a circle, the marital wedding band with the symbolic circle of eternity, the wheel and mandala of Buddhism, or the circle of life and death as recognized by all cultures. I am asking that the spiritualists and healers of the Valley form a new circle, so we may become a group of sisters and brothers, moved by a united desire to help others. I invite you to contact me as I am currently organizing a Social Gathering for Healers. Anyone interested in attending may simply RSVP. This is not to make any profit: the only cost will depend on the venue. As more and more people become interested in joining, I would like to move the meeting location around the Valley, broadening the cohesion of like-minded people. The goal is creation of a support system rather than a competitive system. We all do different things and have varying areas of specialties. If your desire is to truly help others, there may be times your clients or students would benefit from the assistance of another practitioner in the Valley. Here's a wonderful opportunity to meet! Let us open our arms to one another in friendship and unity. Let us begin The Circle. For anyone interested in being a part of a quarterly meeting among healers in the Valley, please contact me and I'll do what I can to arrange something (picnic, coffee house, restaurant), so we can meet and share thoughts and experiences. | If you ever have problems thinking of someone to pray for or to send good wishes or Reiki energy to, here are some immediate considerations: >Those suffering in the crisis in Darfur >Support and empathy for the millions suffering from mental illnesses throughout the world >For the politicians who have illusory power-- pray for them to be as focused on their heart-energy as possible rather than being tempted and led by their ego-energy >Those that have purposely hurt us-- pray for the warming and opening of their hearts, that their need to cause suffering may be diminished >Any of our brothers and sisters who experience a sense of isolation, whether from family, work, or the world-- pray that they discover acceptance within themselves first, so that they may find acceptance and love within the world >Our own critical nature, that we may acknowledge, accept, and bless our critical ways first, before we adjust them, releasing Ego's need to be right |

| Our First Social Gathering for Healers was held November 17, 2007, and was a terrific way for like-minded individuals to meet and discuss common goals and interests.
